The Story Behind ZENZ Organic

THE STORY OF ZENZ ORGANIC PRODUCTS, IS THE STORY OF THE HAIRDRESSER WHO CHANGED THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY

During her apprenticeship as a hairdresser, Anne-Sophie developed allergies to traditional chemical hair products.

In 1999, she opened Denmark's first green hairdressing salon under the name ZENZ Organic Hairdressing. The range of hair products without harmful and environmentally harmful chemistry was extremely limited and at this time there were no professional hairdressing products without allergenic chemistry. It turned out to be the start of a journey that has forever changed the beauty industry.

In 2005, she helped establish "Green Salon". A certification given to hairdressing salons using healthier products and actively working to reduce their environmental and climate footprint.

The first ZENZ Organic Products were ready in 2010. Certified by AllergyCertified and Swan. A small exclusive range of professional hairdressing products that has been continuously expanded and today includes everything from hair care, hair styling, henna hair color to mineral makeup, organic oils, face creams and sunscreen.

Today, ZENZ ApS is a global company represented in more than 20 countries and with both own and Franchise salons. ZENZ Organic Products has won numerous awards nationally and internationally and is available worldwide.

Anne-Sophie Skjødt Villumsen, the woman behind ZENZ Organic Products

Much has happened since Anne-Sophie started out as an entrepreneur, but it is still Anne-Sophie who, together with a large team of talented hairdressers, develops ZENZ Organic Products and based on the exact same requirements; that the products must be professional and delicious - both to use and to look at, and then they must exceed expectations and create enthusiasm for both hairdressers and consumers.

"What we put in the hair and on the skin is absorbed into the body, just like what we eat. It makes no sense that beauty products contain allergy and carcinogenic, environmentally harmful ingredients"
